Nine D’Urso Is Bottega Veneta’s First Fragrance Face

Bottega Veneta, Nine d’Urso

Tomas Maier, Creative Director of Bottega Veneta cast Nine d’Urso as the face of the scent. Her mother is French fashion icon Inés de la Fressange (Karl Lagerfeld's Chanel muse in the 1980s).

'there is something classically elegant about her, yet she is totally modern. She conveys a sense of heritage worn lightly but with respect" Tomas Maier.

The scent which is a leathery, floral chypre was created by the perfumer Michel Almairac (the nose behind Burberry of London, Chloe EDP and Le Labo Ambrette 9 among others).Tomas envisioned 'an old house in the beautiful countryside in the Veneto region of Italy with rolling green hills, where we’re from...a room with old wood floors, library walls and leather-bound books with the windows open wide, the breeze coming in and cut grass, hay, moss, garden flowers, growing through the room and everything mixing up. That’s where we started.'
The finished scent includes notes of Italian bergamot, Brazilian pink pepper, Indian Sambac jasmine, oak moss, patchouli and Indian patchouli(http://www.elleuk.com/news/beauty-news/bottega-veneta-launches-debut-scent/(gid)/787475)
