McQ Alexander McQueen RTW Fall 2012 - Autumnal Leaves And A Full Forest Set In The Background

Sarah Burton presented McQ's first runway show in London on a catwalk with smoke and strewn with autumn leaves,
The collection was polished and elegant mixed with the McQueen signatures elements like -  tartan patterns, military coats, corseted waists, full skirts, and high necklines rendered in lace.
The evening dresses were dramatic: some had full fifties skirts and flourishes of velvet and tulle, while other, shorter ones were adorned with bright flowers or tone-on-tone embroidery.
At the finale  Kristen McMenamy appeared in a white wedding dress, under a shower of yet more leaves. She then produced a white rope and began following it backstage, where the lights suddenly went up to reveal a fairy tale cottage. When she got to the cottage and ducked inside, it exploded with disco lights and noise
