The collection strongly inspiered by Sicilian Baroque started with - a lengthy series of black&gold, with capes ( whom is going to be 'the most important item' said the duo's on Twitter) and dresses, every surface was dipped in golden ecclesiastical embroidery.
Thickly embroidered coats, corsets and knickerbockers, elaborate black lace dresses, strict-yet-sexy Sicilian widow tailoring, lace pop socks boasted ribbons at the back and were worn with pointy booties that curled up at the toe.
On a lighter side, beautiful white laces and tulles were worked into dresses and blouses, petit-point florals and dark cherub prints added colors.
The models looked “something between princesses and virgins” as Stefano Gabbana called them with tiaras, hair ornaments, and dangly earrings and rich, opulent, romantic, deeply ornate dresses.
