Belgian designer Veronique Branquinho has teamed with luxury lingerie designer Marie Jo L’Aventure for a capsule collection of luxury underwear. Satin and silk corsets have been printed with images of Eve and Venus inspired by Renaissance masters Raphael and Durer. The collection will be launched in September and prices start from 250 euros, or $356 at current exchange

Givenchy's Fall Ad Campaign... ROARING

: Riccardo Tisci’s fall collections for Givenchy — which featured snarling Rottweiler prints for him, panthers for her — inspired a campaign with equal ferocity. Naomi Campbell and Natalia Vodianova are among models who posed on printed cushions — one at a time, not in a gang as Tisci usually prefers — and roared for the lens of Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Tisci described the women’s spots as “dark 1950s pinups,” while the men’s campaign has a touch of “Jerry Lewis combined with American sportswear.” The media buy is described as on par with last season, with the images breaking in select September fashion titles

This is pretty cool if you ask me and even if you don't want a career as a model (but come on! if you have the potenzial but maybe you're too shy.. than this a perfect chance right?!) the app will scan your picture and using complex algorithms and mathematics coupled with exclusive "golden ratio" software - will analyse your face to determine how beautiful you are.

PRINCESS DIANA DRESS AUCTION

An extraordinary collection of Princess Diana’s frocks, which are just clothing ensembles, but historical monuments, can now be yours thanks to the Princess Diana dress auction. The 14 dresses up for auction belong to Maureen Rorech Dunkel, who purchased them at an auction just weeks before Di’s fatal car crash in Paris. Today and tomorrow, Waddington’s Auction House in Canada will host the highly anticipated sale of fourteen of the dresses which include blue Victor Edelstein velvet dress worn while dancing with John Travolta, and two dresses from the princess’s favorite, Catherine Walker, which she famously sported in Vanity Fair. The dresses are expected to go for anywhere between $175,000 to $550,000.

MYKITA FOR JAPAN FRANZ SUNGLASSES

 


The MYKITA for Japan Franz Sunglasses were designed in collaboration with fashion designer Bernhard Wilhelm. The shades have a Hinomaru theme as a reflection of the Japanese flag, complete with a white frame and red stardust lenses. These are limited edition, with only 100 pieces put into production, each of which will come with a numbered certificate.

The MYKITA for Japan Franz Sunglasses will be sold exclusively through the brand’s official website. All the proceeds from the sales will go towards relief efforts. This pair of shades will be released on June 22nd.
