Gucci for UNICEF - Sukey bag

The seven-year partnership between Gucci and UNICEF continues to kindle Frida Giannini’s creative spark.

Her latest effort, due out on June 15, is an updated version of the bestselling “Gucci for UNICEF” Sukey bag, launched last year, which this time features the house’s historic Diamante motif in deep chocolate brown. As in the past, 25 percent of the $1,430 retail price for each bag will go to support UNICEF’s “Schools for Africa” initiative, aimed at providing children with access to quality education.

The newest top handle bag has soft ruches and a detachable leather charm with the interlocking GG logo. The “Gucci for UNICEF” Sukey will be available in Gucci stores in more than 20 countries and on Gucci.com until Feb. 28.

DIAMOND-ENCRUSTED STEWIE NECKLACE

Justin Bieber recently paid $25,000 to have a diamond-encrusted Stewie necklace custom-designed for his own personal jewelry collection. Stewie is the only character from the beloved cartoon Series Family Guy to be transformed into a this big of a bank-breaking necklace. Although other variations of diamond-encrusted Stewie necklaces exist, this one is by far the most expensive.
Justin Bieber is reported to have personally participated in the design process of the diamond-encrusted Stewie necklace, which was designed by Jason Arasheben.

According to the famous Beverly Hills jewelry designer, the diamond-encrusted Stewie necklace contains over 12 sparkling diamonds that add up to just over 12 carats. Multicolored rubies add some color to the already over-the-top design, making the piece extra extravagant.
